What the Friends volunteers do
The Friends of the Carmel Valley Library sort book donations, restock the bookstore shelves, manage the funds and participate in Friends of the San Diego Public Library meetings. We currently have openings for specific roles:
- Publicize our accomplishments by creating flyers, newspaper articles, library display screen info
- Post to our Friends of San Diego Carmel Valley Branch Facebook page. This work can be done any time that is convenient for you
- Write a monthly email newsletter to keep donors and community members informed
